I was curious to see what would happen when I took the lizella clay up to cone 10. The shrinkage was incredible and thankfully, it did not melt.

Lizella clay is a type of clay that comes out of the ground ready to throw. Lizella clay is found to the west of Macon Georgia. This particular example was salt fired to cone 10.
